The Last of the Lambs

It was a warm and pleasant day in the woods where The Lamb lived, like any other day. No leaves turned brown or fell from the trees and there was no chill in the wind that would perhaps beckon the chance for snow or cold weather. The only thing that was white in these woods was a few species of flowering plants and The Lambs own white fluffy wool. The Lamb stood under a tree hidden from sight, nibbling on fresh leaves as they heard footsteps approaching. “Visitors.” The Lamb surmised before trotting off to see who had entered their home. Keeping well out of sight they’d see a fox that had fur almost as white as their own. It was marred with red face paint and a skull necklace around their neck. Alongside the fox was a dog who was as green as spring time. The dog also had face paint but it was sunshine yellow, he wore a moon necklace. Both were armed with longbows made from yew wood and their quivers were full of arrows on their back large packs that must have been heavy with

Side story part three 'I really hope that what David said was true...' I thought as I gazed down the dusty old forest trail. It lead straight into the shadowy depths of the forest. @Annun21 is going through A VERY rough time right now. They recently lost two family members (their mother and twin) and just need some compassion and support thrown their way.
